About Hailroot

Hailroot is a Filipino-American and lesbian-owned independent streetwear label based in Los Angeles.

Hailroot started because I wanted something cool to wear to concerts and music festivals. Something deeply inspired by the music and the artists. When I couldn't find exactly what I had in mind, I decided to make it myself.

Turns out, I really love designing apparel

What started as a personal project quickly grew into Hailroot: a collection of original designs printed exclusively on premium blanks that my wife and I actually love wearing. Our pieces are inspired by music, Filipino culture, tech, travel, places we love, or just whatever random idea sticks in my head long enough to turn into a design.

At its core, Hailroot is about the things that shape us and the things we love. Our roots, our interests, our experiences, and the things we choose to carry with us. 

There is no complicated corporate story here. I make things I think are cool and I hope you find something here you think is cool, too.
